SECURITY & CONTROL

Your AI. Your WordPress.
Your control.

Connect your assistant with clear permissions. Review the exact change before it runs. Check what WordPress actually saved.

BEFORE A CHANGE

Access is defined. Every time.

An AI request does not grant authority. Available operations depend on the connected user, permissions, plan and supported adapter.

Permissions stay in force.

WordPress capabilities and GES connection permissions limit what the assistant can request. Grant only the access needed for your work.

Preview the exact action.

GES reads the target and prepares a supported proposal. Review the resource, existing state and intended change before authorizing it.

Approval has boundaries.

Apply requires the reviewed action’s confirmation and current permission checks. Changed or expired proposals may require a fresh preview and review.

AFTER A CHANGE

A response is not the result.

GES reads the native WordPress resource back after execution and records the outcome with the Job.

Check the saved state.

Verification compares the resulting resource with the intended change. Public appearance may also need a separate browser check.

Inspect the evidence.

Reviewed proposals, execution outcomes and verification evidence help you understand what happened and which resource changed.

Resolve uncertainty first.

If an operation may have run but its result is unclear, inspect the resource and execution evidence before retrying. Repeating it can duplicate work.

MANAGE ACCESS

Keep the connection under your control.

Review the permissions for each assistant connection in GES. Limit access to the website and operations you intend to use.

To stop an assistant’s access, revoke its connection or OAuth authorization in GES and disconnect it in the assistant’s own settings. Revocation does not undo completed changes. For an operation already underway, inspect its Job and the saved WordPress state.

KNOW THE LIMITS

Clear limits are part of trust.

GES provides controls around supported operations. Your review, backups and site administration remain part of a reliable workflow.

Can every change be undone?

No. Recovery depends on the operation and available evidence. Publishing, deletion, emails, software changes and other side effects can have consequences that a reverse operation cannot fully undo. Keep suitable backups.

Does approval bypass other checks?

No. Approval does not override missing WordPress capabilities, connection permissions, plan requirements or live-state checks.

What happens when an operation is unsupported?

GES stops when the required adapter or supported path is unavailable. Support varies by installed theme, plugins, builder and resource. Check compatibility and requirements →

Does GES prevent every AI mistake?

No. Review the proposed content, links, target and scope carefully. A technically valid change can still be inappropriate for your website.

What should I consider about data access?

Content and tool results returned to your connected assistant are handled by that assistant provider under its own terms and settings. Grant access with that in mind. Do not paste passwords, client secrets or access tokens into conversations.

Is this a compliance certification?

This page describes GES product controls. It does not claim independent security certification or guarantee compliance for your website.
